Finding Hobbies You Love
Find 3 Hobbies You Love: One to make you money, one to keep you in shape, and one to be creative.
One of the things that always seems to keeps me on track with my goals and overall happiness is having different hobbies. Over the years, I have taken up a number of different hobbies from learning French to taking dance classes. It is so important to have various activities in your life that feed your soul and spirit. Few people are even lucky enough to call their hobbies their jobs.
I recently came across this quote and it really resonated with me. As 2015 began, I made some goals for the year in order to become my optimal self. This mantra of having different hobbies that addresses all the main parts of our lives is so important to keep in mind. Obviously, it is important to make money to survive; it is important to take care of our bodies and stay in shape and be healthy; and lastly, it is important to have an outlet that you can be creative and express yourself. Assuming that you are doing each of these things in a healthy and safe manner, this mantra can be a great benchmark for how you are doing to become your optimal self!
For me, I am currently working on some freelance work with different creative artists, which is my hobby for making money; I have The City Sidewalks that is my hobby for being creative; and now I just need to find the perfect and consistent hobby for staying in shape this year...
